Cedar Lodge Retreat and Resort

As the holiday season fades, many of us find our spirits drooping too, a good reason to plan a vacation at the exquisite Cedar Lodge Bella Vista Lakefront Retreat and Resort. The resort’s rustic grandeur and outstanding amenities make it the perfect getaway place for family gatherings of any kind.
“The guests we have staying there now are celebrating their grandma’s 80th birthday,” said Linda Swalve who with her husband, Richard, are new owners of the eight-bedroom, 7,600-square foot resort located on beautiful Loch Lomond. “It sleeps 15 and is a great place for family reunions, big family Christmases and Thanksgivings, and business retreats. What people like best about the lodge is the warm feeling they have when they’re here.
”USA Today has repeatedly recommended the five-star Cedar Lodge as one of the top 50 vacation rentals in the nation. It received a Best of Northwest Arkansas award in 2019. “When you first walk in, you know this place is different,” wrote a guest named Lisa on Vrbo. “It is an awesome place to play and recharge with your family.”
From a children’s log playhouse built inside the lodge, to the downstairs family room equipped with a bar, foosball, pool table and huge projection screen TV, there’s endless fun to be had. The many bedroom suites are spacious and lavishly furnished. “We have an indoor sauna which is very popular and an outdoor jacuzzi,” Linda noted. “The gentleman from Missouri who milled all the logs made the antler chandeliers.”
She went on to describe the exciting outdoor activities. “We’re right on the lake and have a slide that goes into the water. There’s a dock with complimentary kayaks available and an outdoor firepit.” Besides the gazebos by the water, “there’s an outdoor covered gazebo entertainment area with a fridge and TV for relaxing. We also have a pontoon you can rent.”
People come from all over to stay at Cedar Lodge. Aside from two or three available stays in May, August and September, “we’re booked solid. We have a waiting list. I’ve already taken reservations for 2024,” Linda explained. She urges people to give her a call at the number below to grab one of the few open spots or to get on the waiting list.
